Description: bright white porcelain with 24 kt gold trim and beautiful orchids in pink, blue, and yellow with green streaming stems. This popular set is in the Donatello shape, but has no patterm name; it is commonly known as Orchid/Iris. Replacements Ltd ID code is Orchid/Iris. This porcelain is an exemplary example of the high quality thin, translucent, and silky smooth porcelain coming from this country. It generates quite a few sales on eBay. Factory: "Bohemia" Ceramic Works was founded in 1921 in Nova Role, Czechoslovakia (formerly Neurohlau, Bohemia, Austria). From 1922 to 1945 Philip Rosenthal AG of Selb, Bavaria was a significant partner. The factory was merged into Karlovarský Porcelán in 1958, and it is still in operation as a division of Thun Karlovarský Porcelán AS Závod Nová Role.
