I am not an expert on any of these subjects.
1896 Beatty & Brady Glass Company founded the factory.
1899 National Glass Company took over, and then in 1907 it became the Indiana Glass Company.
1955 it merged with Lancaster Lens Company. Another merger in 1961 created the Lancaster Colony Corporation. Indiana Glass became a subsidiary.
2002 the factory closed.
The company began by making a wide range of tableware, both blown and pressed glass.
1971 it began making a contemporary form of Carnival Glass, the iridescent colored glass. It introduced Iridescent Blue. In 1974, it added four more colors: Iridescent Gold (amber), Iridescent Sunset (ameribin red), Iridescent Green, and Iridescent Amethyst.
The Wild Rose with Leaves (and Berries) came in several shapes and colors. The pattern is impressed on the reverse side consisting of an open rose blossom with a center pistal and leaves pointing outwards creating an irregular edge with balls (berries) in between each leaf.
